Recipe for: Healthy Spaghetti

Ingredients:

1 pound of ground turkey

1/3 cup of Italian bread crumbs

1 teaspoon oregano

1 clove of chopped garlic

2 boxes of whole wheat spaghetti noodles

1 can of sweet corn

Directions:

  • Pre- heat oven to 400 degrees.

  • Stir 1/4 cup of tomato sauce, turkey, oregano, onion, breadcrumbs,

and garlic into a large mixing bowl.

  • Shape into 1 inch balls and place on a sprayed cookie sheet.

Makes about 20 meatballs.

  • Bake meatballs for 15-18 minutes turning once.

  • While meatballs are baking, prepare spaghetti, prepare sweet corn,

and simmer the remainder of the sauce.

  • Place a serving of spaghetti onto a plate. Top with 3- 4 meatballs

and a serving of tomato sauce. ENJOY!
