Recipe for: Potato Soup

Ingredients:
1/2 lb. of bacon
10 medium potatoes
5-6 teaspoons chicken broth flavoring
3 carrots
2 cans of evaporated milk
1/2 cup of potato flakes

Directions:
1. Skin and cut potatoes into bite sized pieces and place in a large pot. Add water until potatoes are barely covered.
2. Cut bacon into bite sized pieces and add to a separate pan. As bacon begins to crisp, add shredded and peeled carrots and cook until caramelized.
3. Add bacon and carrots (2 tablespoons of bacon grease optional for flavor) to boiling potatoes.
4. Add chicken flavoring and evaporated milk.
5. Set heat to low and heat for 20 minutes or till the potatoes are tender.
6. If you want it to be thicker, add potato flakes.
7. Enjoy.
